New Daycare Guests

Join the fun in daycare!  Your pet will be happily exhausted after spending the day playing with friends and you will be able to check in on them using our live video stream.  We hope to meet you and your furry friend  soon!

Dogs must be at least 5 months old and spayed or neutered. Pets must be in good health and flea and tick free. Dogs will be inspected at the time of check-in and if fleas or flea dirt are noticed, the pet will not be admitted. If parasites are discovered during their stay, specialized care and treatment fees may apply at the owner’s expense.

To enroll your dog in Daycare:

  1. Contact your veterinarian for verification of current vaccination and request a certification of proof for:
  • RabiesDistemper (DHPP)
  • Bordetella Vaccine (Kennel Cough) within the past 6 months
  • Negative fecal test results within the past 12 months
  • Monthly flea and tick preventative medication

(For speedy intake processes fill out these forms online then have your vet fax us your updated vaccine information to 614-277-8610)

Personal hand-written records are not accepted and records must be obtained before the Temperament Test can be administered.

Evaluation and First Day Schedule:

  1. You will need to complete the online profile by following the below link and it’s prompts.  Before you can schedule appointments or services, we’ll need your pup’s vaccination records.  We are happy to call and ask for them, or you can email them to info@pinnaclepets.com, or fax them to (614) 277-8610.

  2. You can schedule the evaluation online through the Pinnacle Pets website or by calling (614) 991-5149.  Evaluations are only needed for dogs enrolling in Daycare/Group Play

  3. All dogs must arrive on a leash. Please plan on staying with your dog for at least 30 minutes for the initial phase of the evaluation. Our trained staff we will ask for information regarding temperament, play style, and personality before your pup joins the daycare fun!

Incomplete records will prevent your dog from being able to stay, so be sure to ensure we have your records and they are all up-to-date!

  1. After we establish that your dog will be comfortable in our care, you are free to leave.

  2. The next step in our evaluation process is to bring your dog to the play area to assess his reaction and determine the most appropriate play group for his/her size, activity level and temperament.

  3. After determining the most appropriate play group, we will slowly introduce him to the play group dogs one at a time to make sure that your dog is comfortable with his new friends.

  4. New dogs need to stay with us for a minimum of two hours for evaluation. If they appear comfortable and happy to be among their peers, they are welcome to stay for the entire day and do not have to be picked up until 7:30 pm.

  5. When you pick your dog up we will share your dog’s behavior and apparent comfort level while in Daycare.

  6. After a successful completion of the intake interview and trial day, you can schedule reservations whenever you like!
