The Receptionist is the guest’s first point of contact and is an extremely important position. A person that is a good fit is someone that can multitask well, has an excellent in-person, on-phone, and electronic personality, and a drive to give 100% so guests have the best experience, every time. Great oral/written communication and excellent customer service skills are a must.

Responsibilities:

Welcome and greet all guests.
Demonstrate knowledge of the services offered and prices.
Receive telephone reservations, questions, concerns, and requests.
Answer customer questions regarding prices, specials, services, and requirements.
Follow up with customers to ensure they had a great experience!
Suggest goods and services that will enhance the customer’s experience.
Operate point of sale devices.
Communicate details to the owner about the pet’s stay.
Immediately address issues that may compromise the health, safety, and welfare of our guests.
Review customer documentation for accuracy and completion.
Ensure that pets checking in have current vaccination records.
Ensure reception and lobby areas are clean, stocked, and inviting.
Relay customer concerns and suggestions to the General Manager.

Part-time

Dog Daycare Attendants will take care of our visiting fuzzy guests in a group play setting! We make sure their day is filled with fun, love, and friends while keeping them safe during their play.

Daycare Attendants will love all animals and have a desire to make sure all our guests are safe and happy. Observational skills, flexibility, and mindfulness are a must when keeping an eye on pups!

Team Member Responsibilities:

Being familiar with the pet’s needs and follow requests for services (birthday parties, etc.)
Maintaining indoor and outdoor cleanliness (sweeping, dishes, wiping surfaces, etc.)
Watching dog body language to ensure all parties are playing well together. Don’t worry, we’ll teach you all the skills!
Being able to accurately and descriptively depict what activities each pet participated in as well as their likes, dislikes, friends, etc. in a written format (we send home daily report cards so their family can see how they are doing!)
Monitoring the behavior and health of dogs and communicate to fellow team members.
Demonstrating knowledge of the services offered and carry out those services if needed outside of daycare (stories and snuggles, private play sessions, hand out snacks, etc.)
Critically considering the environment and guests and make suggestions on how to increase value, efficiency, and services.
Immediately addressing issues that may compromise the health, safety, and welfare of our guests.
Taking amazing pictures of our guests having a blast!
Helping in other areas of the facility as needed.

Boarding Attendants will love all animals and have a desire to make sure all our guests are safe and happy.  Organizational skills are necessary to ensure dogs and cats are properly fed, loved, and tended to at all times. Flexibility and mindfulness are a must when taking care of many fluffy friends!

Part-time

The position requires someone with a positive attitude, who is reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented with a great work ethic and good communication skills. Ability to work independently with a variety of sizes, personalities, and ages of dogs. Must be 18 years old.

We are seeking candidates with positive energy who can put our customers first at all times. You must be a hardworking, motivated individual that has a great passion for dogs and their welfare! Night Staff hours are typically 9 pm-6:00 am, two or three shifts a week.

Responsibilities:

Providing individual one-on-one time with dogs as asked
Walking dogs on business grounds for “comfort breaks”
Supervising dogs on morning “comfort breaks”
Supervising dogs while playing or resting
Maintaining a sanitary environment throughout the centers
Performing routine housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dish-washing, sweeping, etc.
Ensuring that all equipment, including toys, are clean and well-maintained.
Maintaining daily information on dog behavior, activities, and well-being
Communicating dog status at end of shift
Photographing dogs when assigned
Able to lift up to 60 lbs.
Other duties as assigned.

About Pinnacle Pets:

Pinnacle Pets Play & Stay is located in Grove City, Ohio, and is a family business that also provides boarding, daycare, and training services. We are a newer facility with state-of-the-art grooming tables, bathing tubs, and cleaning equipment. We are looking for someone that is enthusiastic about growing with our business and building their own portfolio and client base. Some training is required, additional training can be provided for the right person. Shampoos/conditioners are supplied and the hours/pay structure is flexible. We are a drama-free workplace.

Must have experience and the knowledge to groom dogs as requested by owner or breed standards. Some training will be provided to the right person.

Our dog groomers are responsible for cleaning ears, toenail trim and grind, bathing and drying, anal gland expression, shaping hair with the use of clippers and scissors, hair dying and styling, and maintaining the safety and cleanliness of the salon.

Team Member Requirements:

Compassion: Dogs often get stressed out in unfamiliar situations and groomers need to understand this and treat them accordingly.

Customer-Service: Groomers work with customers directly and must be friendly and have good communication skills when interacting with our staff and clientele.

Attention to Detail: Groomers must pay attention to details and focus on their work, to keep the dogs safe and well-groomed.

Stamina: Groomers are on their feet for long periods of time, sometimes hunched over animals during the grooming process. Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
